Colours of French Garden

10th May 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12th May 2019 @ 5:00 pm

Join me in the beautiful Le Touvet, France, for a 3 day workshop painting the ‘Colours of a French Garden’ in watercolour.

In this workshop we will be focusing on the colours of flowers and the watercolour techniques needed to create rich and vibrant hues.

Learn how to match petal colours accurately, how to mix colours, and how to use layers of colour effectively to capture delicate nuances of light and shadow.

We will also be learning all about bees, and how to paint these delightful garden visitors!

Le Touvet is a little town in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region in the south-east of France, 25 kilometres from Grenoble. It is a beautiful place to visit and the perfect location for a botanical art workshop. The workshop will be hosted by Dominique Guillon, a respected botanical art tutor and member of the Société Française d’Illustration Botanique.

The workshop is available as a residential course (full board accommodation + workshop) for €475.

If you wish to attend the workshop only and make alternative arrangements for accommodation, the price for the 3-day workshop with lunch is €325.

For bookings and further information, please contact Dominique at +33 (0) 476 923 096 or by email dom.guillon@gmail.com
