Celebrate the first blossoms of Spring on a two-day Botanical Art Workshop with Shevaun Doherty. This workshop will teach you the various watercolour techniques (wet-in-wet, glazing and drybrush) needed to capture the delicacy of spring flowers.
We will begin with observational drawing and tonal studies, and then focus on how to use colour to convey realistic light and form.
An experienced tutor, Shevaun will demonstrate her painting techniques, as well as giving practical advice on how to set up botanical subjects for painting, how to choose the right colours, and how to finish and present your artwork.
